Yes we do! Makeup by Louise is solely mobile at the moment, so for every booking, wether it be for a makeup lesson or a makeup appointment wed will come to you! MBL covers all of the UK, but is based on the Norfolk, Suffolk border. A 15 mile radius is included in all of our prices but we are more than happy to travel further. Any trips to locations will be charged 40p a mile for all miles that exceed the 30 miles.

H O W / W H E N C A N I B O O K M B L ?
You can book YOUR appointment with Makeup by Louise right NOW! These is no limit as to how early you can book in your appointment and the sooner you book the better, as we are booking up extremely fast! Makeup by Louise are currently taking 2018, 2019 and 2020 bookings. Sometimes we have some last minute spaces become available so it is always advisable to contact us or keep an eye on our social media as this is where we post our cancelations first. However to avoid disappointment, the earlier you book the better, as generally key dates book up around 12 - 18 months in advance. Unfortunately at the moment MBL does not offer any kind of hair appointments. We believe in keeping our skills, makeup focused providing you with the most flawless and perfect looks we can. However, we work with a number of amazing hairdressers on a regular basis, and we are more then happy to give you our recommendations and pass on any details.

W H A T B R A N D S D O Y O U U S E / R E C C O M E N D ?
At Makeup by Louise we only use the best products that we have tried and tested over the years! All of the products used in our kits are loved by our artists in both their personal and professional lives. We use our favourite products from a variety of high end luxury brands, our main love being for M.A.C, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Illamasqua, L.A Girl, Laura Mercier, Anastasia Beverly Hills and many more. Our kits do even include a couple of affordable products that are at the top of their makeup categories from brands like Maybelline, Rimmel, NYX, Loreal etc..! Here at Makeup by Louise we believe at every brand has something they are known for and our artists are always keen to try new and exciting products to see if it fits ours and our clients needs. We offer long lasting and photogenic techniques that we believe all of our products in our kits live up to.

H O W D O Y O U K E E P A L L O F Y O U R P R O D U C T S S A N A T I S E D ?
Keeping everything sanitised is our number one priority at Makeup by Louise, as our clients health should never be put at risk especially not by us. At the start of every appointment or course all of our artist will sterilise their hands in front of their clients to reassure everyone of our policies. Before and after every single client we disinfect our entire makeup kits and brush sets of all germs and bacteria that could be passed from client to client. We use surgical spirit (also known as IPA or rubbing alcohol which is 100% skin and eye safe) and spray a generous amount over all of our makeup product surfaces to kill any germs and bacteria. We also use a dedicated brush cleaner to clean and sterilise all of our brushes between appointments. All of our artists are professional trained to know how to keep their kits sterile and eliminate the spread of bacteria so our clients know, they are always in safe hands!

D O Y O U A C C E P T C R E D I T / D E B I T C A R D S ?
Unfortunately at the moment, we do not accept any form of card payment. We do however accept: Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer & Paypal. This may change in the foreseeable future so please check back for updates.
D O I N E E D T O P A Y A D E P O S I T F O R M Y B O O K I N G ?
We are now having to take a deposit at Makeup by Louise, this is because of last minute cancelations. This is our job and source of income at the end of the day, and when we have cancelations or no shows we loose out on providing our other customers that are waiting for available appointments and times. The amount of deposit will be discussed and approved at the time of your booking. All deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. We thank you for your corporation and understanding.

D O Y O U O F F E R A P A Y M E N T P L A N O P T I O N ?
Yes we do! Although we do not currently offer a finance option, we do however offer a payment plan for certain bookings. This can be discussed at the time of your appointment quotation.

W H E N D O I N E E D T O P A Y M Y B A L A N C E I N F U L L ?
The remainder of your balance is due for payment no less then two weeks before your appointment date. This can be paid for a number of ways, either by cash, bank transfer, PayPal or Cheque.
If a balance is paid for by cheque, card details MUST BE provided, incase of a bounced payment.
Card details will be kept on file for one year, before being securely destroyed.

D O Y O U H A V E A C A N C E L A T I O N P O L I C Y ?
Yes we do! As stated below under each FAQ category, non re fundable deposits are required for certain bookings, this will be outlined in your booking quotation at your consultation. If a cancelation is made before the final payment has been paid then no further action is required, however if a cancelation is made after the final payment has been paid you may be entitled to a refund.
Makeup Appointments FAQ's
H O W L O N G S H O U L D M Y A P P O I N T M E N T T A K E ?
A normal time slot, per makeup appointment, is one hour and 30 minutes, for one makeup look. Sometimes your appointment can run shorter depending on the look you are wanting to achieve. Certain appointments can vary in timings and shall be quoted at time of your booking or in your quotation.

I S T H E R E A N A G E L I M I T O R R E S T R I C T I O N F O R A P P O I N T M E N T S ?
At Makeup by Louise, we have no such issue with age limitations or restrictions however, if you are under the age of 16, MBL will need parental consent. All of our customers need to fill in a consultation forms before their first Makeup Appointment, which will outline any allergies or product irritation that you may have, and there will be a parental consent section to fill in for anyone under the age of 16.

I H A V E R E A L L Y S E N S I T I V E S K I N, I' M W O R R I E D Y O U R P R O D U C T S M I G H T I R R I T A T E M Y S K I N ?
All MBL customers are required to fill in a consultation form before their first appointment, which will let your artist know of any allergies or skin/product irritation before you arrive at your appointment. However if there is an allergy or sever product irritation that MBL need to know further information about we will contact you on one of the methods provided. Sensitive skin can be triggered by a number of things, however we try our very best to stock products that have been rigorously tested and free of most of the top allergies/irritants. If you have a certain trigger, that you are aware of, then please send us any information that will help us still provide you with the best service possible.

W H A T H A P P E N S I F I H A V E A N A L L E R G Y ?
If you have any allergies or have had any reaction to any known makeup ingredients ie. Silicon, Latex, etc... then please let Louise know at the time of your booking, so she can accommodate her products to your needs.
W I L L M Y M E D I C A L C O N D I T I O N A F F E C T M Y T R E A T M E N T ?
As a whole we would say no, however we are not doctors or professionals in that area, so the decision is down to you. Only you know how your medical/health conditions affect you. If you feel like your treatment WOULD affect your health condition then please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your appointment the most comfortable and as assessable as we possibly can.

D O Y O U D O A I R B R U S H M A K E U P ?
No, we unfortunately do not offer airbrushing at this moment in time. The techniques we use however give the same flawless appearance and texture as airbrushing with similar lasting power and longevity.

Absolutely, 100% yes! Your wedding day is one of the best days of your life and you don't have to wear a lot of makeup on your wedding day to look fantastic. The difference between having a professional makeup artist do your makeup and yourself, is the long lasting application and the professional products used to create your look

W H E N S H O U L D I B O O K M Y W E D D I N G W I T H M B L ?
As soon as possible! Our 2017 diary is filling up quickly, but did you know we are available to book 2 years in advance. A booking contract is also required to be signed to retain your booking. Demand is very high, and certain peak dates often book up to 2 years in advance so please do contact us as soon as possible with your enquiries to avoid disappointment.

D O I N E E D T O P A Y A D E P O S I T ?
As of 2018 we are now taking a non refundable deposit to secure ALL wedding bookings, no matter the party size - this is taken upon booking.

You don't have to have a makeup trial but we highly reccomend having one.

W H E N S H O U L D I B O O K M Y M A K E U P T R I A L ?
When you book your makeup trial is completely up to you, but at MBL we like to advise our clients to book their wedding trial one month before the big day. This way the trial is close enough to the big day that you will remember the look you have chosen but not close enough that you are stressed about timings and fitting everything in.

W H A T H A P P E N S I F I H A V E A N A L L E R G Y ?

C A N I H A V E A S P R A Y T A N F O R M Y W E D D I N G ?
Of course you can! You don't even need to have one for your trial as we will colour match your foundation on the day of your trial and again on your wedding day. We colour match your foundation to your chest to give you the most natural, flawless looking colour. We blend the product down the neck to make the look seamless and cover any blemishes, which is brilliant if you have any spray tan patchiness.

I W A N T T O K E E P M Y W E D D I N G M A K E U P A S E C R E T, I S T H A T P O S S I B L E ?
Of course, our lips are sealed! We agree that your bridal makeup should be kept top secret, as this is YOUR special day and we don't want anything to spoil that. All images taken at your makeup trial shall be kept secret until after your wedding date. All pictures posted will not be tagged (unless we have your Facebook/Instagram handle) but please feel free to tag yourselves.

S H O U L D I H A V E M Y H A I R D O N E B E F O R E M Y M A K E U P ?
Normally at MBL we don't mind which way around you have your hair and makeup done, but sometimes it is better to have you hair done first. Any products used on your hair then won't affect the makeup and your hairstylist won't need to worry about pressing on or smudging the makeup. Your MBL artist will be able to perfect your face without destroying your flawlessly styled hair.

H O W L O N G W I L L M Y M A K E U P T A K E O N T H E D A Y ?
On the day of your wedding your bridal makeup will take between 1.5 to 2 hours, although if you haven't had a bridal makeup trial before hand it can take longer. It may seem like a long time to be having your makeup done, but we see it as a MUST. Your wedding day is one of the best days of your lives and our main focus is YOU. We want your day to be perfect, and we like to take our time in creating perfection. For the rest of your wedding party we like to take 45mins to an hour to create your chosen looks.

W H A T S H O U L D I D O I F I C R Y ?
It is completely normal to be emotional on your wedding day but whatever you do, DO NOT wipe them tears away! Instead pat away the dampness. Wiping away the tears will disturb the makeup and remove the coverage. We only use waterproof mascara and this along with the long lasting techniques that MBL use guarantees your makeup will hold up throughout the day even through tears, without leaving those tell tale white streaks. By gently patting away the tears you will not remove any makeup keeping your flawless makeup intact.

C A N Y O U S T A Y T H R O U G H O U T T H E W E D D I N G D A Y F O R T O U C H U P S ?
We would LOVE to help you in anyway possible on your big day. Mostly we only witness the start of the wedding day, when everyone is excitingly getting ready, and normally leave just before the start of the ceremony but we are always available for all you wedding needs. That includes the WHOLE wedding day. If you would like MBL to be available through out your wedding day, wether it be for multiple makeup looks or just touch ups then contact us for YOUR quote.
D O Y O U S U P P L Y L I P S T I C K F O R T O U C H U P S ?
Yes we do!! There is nothing worse than worrying about your makeup through out your wedding day. MBL have perfected, flawless, long lasting techniques that ensures your makeup WILL last your entire big day, but just incase you need a little touch up, we will provide you with a sample of your chosen lip colour as well as a disposable lip brush to apply it with, giving you absolutely nothing to worry about!
